EMP Donation for Charity Projects

When you purchase a product with this symbol we will make a donation to organisations that actively work to help people in need. This includes children in need and socially disadvantaged people, as well as those who are suffering hardship due to illness or catastrophe who urgently need our help.

Hardcore Help Foundation

THE HARDCORE HELP FOUNDATION is committed to a humanitarian approach and as the name of the organisation suggests, it could hardly be more closely interwoven with the ideals and values of the hardcore and punk rock scene. It all started in 2011 with the devastating Fukushima tsunami and the idea of collecting donations through a festival and the sale of used and new merch. After many festivals and concerts, we can say that many people in need at home and abroad have been helped with essential goods.

Der Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading standard for processing textiles made from organically-produced natural fibres. At a high level, it defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain and requires compliance with social criteria. You can find further information at www.global-standard.org

EMP Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton certification guarantees the ecological cultivation of the fibre.Organic cotton is produced and harvested according to the guidelines of organic farming. The use ofgenetically modified seeds is prohibited. In contrast to conventional cotton cultivation, the use of chemical pesticides and fertilisers is prohibited. To maintain and improve natural soil fertility, manure and compost are used. To keep insects away, the fields are moved with other plants to keep the pests away. For example, sunflowers are planted around the cotton fields in West Africa. These attract pests such as the cotton capsule beetle and thus prevent infestation of the cotton plants. In addition, the farmers practice crop rotation. This means that cotton is grown in alternation with other crops such as tomatoes or peppers, etc. This also serves to care for the soil and prevents the spread of pests and diseases.
