Once the main song writer leaves the band, this is often the end. Well, not for Beseech who demonstrated with release of the album "Drama" in 2004 that they are able to perform top grade Gothic Metal even without ex guitar player Klas Bohlin.

by Markus Eck (04/01) Great! This is exactly the kind of album that I expected after their superb "Black emotions" album: a masterpiece of atmospheric Gotic Metal that can never be copied. And even if the magnificent "Drama" like it's predecessor "Souls Highway" cannot quite live up to the qualities of "Black emotions" the six Swedes have really come close. Already the first song "Drama" comes up with all beloved strengths of Beseech - this exceptionally gifted gloomy Gothic Metal six-pack has found it's way! Punishing heaviness pairs up with smooth melancholy. This time- and spaceless act results in emotionally intense songs that only very few bands of this genre present in similar quality.
