Architects Merch at EMP

"No Matter What They Say, It's Like A Brand New Doomsday" … And now, a new dawn is breaking in our online shop – with Architects merch from EMP. The British metal band has long been a household name in Europe, regularly performing their musical works in front of thousands of fans. Architects have proven that their fusion of technical sounds and atmospheric metalcore is a force to be reckoned with – today, they are counted among the most popular bands in post-metalcore and consistently impress with their blend of guttural and clean vocals. Songs with lyrics that stay in your head – at EMP, you will find the perfect Architects merch.

Who are Architects?

To keep it short: A metalcore band from Brighton, England. But there is so much more to Architects than that. The band went through a multitude of name changes before gaining significant attention. Their first band name was "Inharmonic," and they later wrote songs under the name "Counting the Days." Today, the band is known as Architects far beyond English borders and has reinvented itself time and again over the years – Architects know how to capture the zeitgeist and possess the skill and courage to harness the winds of new ideas in any situation. Would you like to convince yourself of the band's talent? At EMP, you can conveniently order all Architects albums for your CD and vinyl collection.

Architects was formed in 2004 – since then, there have been frequent changes in the band's lineup, with various members joining and leaving the metalcore outfit. The band started with their first demo in 2005, and just one year later, their debut album "Nightmares" was born. Nine studio albums have firmly established the band in the post-metalcore genre today – and their music makes it clear: Architects also use their songs to take a political stance. For instance, the band addresses topics such as environmental protection and draws attention to societal issues. "We May Be Infinite, But This World Is Not, Something That We Once Knew, That We Long Forgot."

What's about the new album?

With "The Sky, the Earth & All Between," Architects presented their eleventh studio album in 2025. The title may sound unspecific, but it captures the core of the record perfectly: the Brighton-based band refuses to be pigeonholed and covers the entire spectrum between heaven and earth.

A "best-of" made of new songs

Rather than simply following on from their predecessor, Architects dig deep into their own history and combine it with bold new approaches. The result feels almost like a "best-of" album consisting entirely of new songs, which resonates with different generations of fans:

  • Brutal metalcore & old-school vibes: Songs like "Curse" will make the hearts of long-time fans beat faster.

  • Groove & anthems: With tracks like "Whiplash," the band demonstrates a keen sense of rhythm, while "Everything Ends" functions as a classic rock anthem.

  • Musical moments of calm: The ballad "Judgement Day" (feat. Amira Elfeky) provides emotional depth amidst the familiar storm.
