Death
Sorry, we couldn't find any matches for your search
Death metal fan? Sorry, can’t hear you. Can you stop growling and answer the question? For fans of the explicit and the extreme, there’s Death, the band. And we’ve got Death merch you’ll death-initely want to get your hands on.
Death weren’t just an American death metal band that formed – for many, they were THE death metal band. Formed by lead vocalist, Chuck Schuldiner, Death are considered to be one of the most influential bands in the heavy metal subgenre, and helped pioneer the genre reaching growling, booming new heights.
Their debut album, "Scream Bloody Gore", is often cited as the very first death metal record, which explains why they’re heralded as death metal legends – and why at EMP you will find plenty of Death merch to get your hands on.
Death aren’t just considered one of the best death metal bands of all time, they’re considered one of the best bands of all time. Period. Helping to break death metal out of its shocking, censored and banished-from-society shackles, their music is regularly held in high praise by critics, fellow musicians and, of course, their dedicated legion of fans.
Despite people leaving, group members changing and their sound evolving, Death never really stayed dead for long - the band have released seven studio albums across eleven years. Following their industry shaking debut, "Scream Bloody Gore", the band followed up with albums including" Leprosy", "Individual Thought Patterns" and "The Sound of Perseverance".
Re-releases of Death’s discography are on offer in our online EMP store, along with plenty of other Death merch to keep the band’s legacy alive – something the fans have done since Death disbanded in 2001.
After Schuldiner died in December 2001, the band dissolved and existing members went off to form other bands. But Death never really went anywhere – if "Final Destination" taught us anything, you can never escape Death.
Whether you’ve been an (after)life-long fan or you’re a newcomer to the scene, there’s plenty of Death t-shirts, heavy metal band clothing and more available online at EMP. Check out all the Death band merch we’re just dying to share with you.
