Long beards and rock music. This is the "little ol' band" from Texas: ZZ Top. In the music business for over 50 years now, the band celebrated great success, especially in the 1980s. Their musical mixture of Texas blues, blues rock, boogie, southern rock and hard rock met the right taste with many.
The band has released 15 studio albums as well as several compilations and live albums. In total, ZZ Top have sold over 50 million records so far. Their popularity was so high, they had not only contributed a song to Back to the Future III, they also had a cameo appearance in the film. In addition, Billy Gibbons starred in the television series Bones and the entire band made another cameo appearance in Two and a Half Men.
