It's a small feat to create a pair of trousers that pleases the strict boss as well as the best mates. In fact, at first glance, chinos seem... Quite normal. But if you take a closer look, you will discover small subtleties that distinguish them from the usual cloth pants or cool Brandit pants.
A slightly different cut here, a little nonchalance there... Enough to be really cool without immediately calling the "VFLK" (Association for Boring Clothes) onto the scene. Style sometimes means doing it like the others, only better.
Who do you want to be?
The versatility of these trousers or the trendy Dickies trousers is particularly evident when you combine them with other garments. A casual shirt to go with it? Why not? A T-shirt with the Metallica logo? Works perfectly! These pants are as flexible as Lego bricks. No matter which style you choose, they fit in perfectly in all cases. For hot summer days or festivals, they are also available in short. Any wishes?
Chinos in rockabilly
Rockabilly (and Rock ́n ́Roll) sparked a revolution in the 1950s. Not only was the boundaries between black and white swept away, it was the foundation of a youth culture of its own. With all this, it should not be forgotten that the clothing of the stars of the time was relatively well-behaved in comparison. Therefore, it is only a logical consequence that these comfortable chinos are also and especially popular in the rockabilly sector. They are conventional enough not to scare the mother-in-law.
On the other hand, it is not strictly true to the line. With a lot of pomade in their hair and a college jacket, they are already half the battle. Add to that the right attitude, Memphis is just around the corner. Don ́t step on my blue suede shoes!
Conclusion: these pants rock!
Admittedly, the story of the fairy godmother was invented. But everything else is true. Chinos are light, comfortable and real all-rounders. The days of needing separate pants for work and play are gone with them (unless you work as a diver). Ultimately, in a world that is becoming more and more uniform, they offer the opportunity to live out one's own taste in fashion in the workplace. And at the rock festival... and at the barbecue... Boating... in the clubhouse....
