At the end of the 1970s, George Lucas unveiled an unprecedented film universe: the Star Wars empire! His masterpiece “Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope” formed a new world of film overnight, as well as one of the world’s largest fan bases. Even the words that flash up on the screen at the beginning of each film are enough to make any fan happy: “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...” George Lucas’ series of characters are etched in our collective memory, including Yoda, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and many more!
But it's not just the characters, also available as Star Wars figures who create the right galactic atmosphere: the actors too play an important part due to their acting talent. Whether Harrison Ford or Alec Guinness, their work has significantly shaped this film saga all over the world. Everyone knows something about Lightsabers and Jedi, right?
The saga continues
Fans were left without the famous Lightsaber sound for a long time, and it seemed the rapid flights in the Millennium Falcon, the exciting fights and chases were all over. Fans of Luke, Leia and Yoda had to wait ten years until the space saga was back on the big screen, until 2015 when Disney bought the rights to the films and released "Star Wars VII - The Force Awakens". And the best news is that it’s the first of three parts!
Star Wars VII - The Force Awakens
The first of the trilogy, The Force Awakens, is set 30 years after the Jedi Knights returned, the Death Star was destroyed and Darth Vader saved the universe. In The Force Awakens, the rebels once again go head to head with the First Order and its stormtroopers. Finn is one of them, although he quickly realises that he doesn’t want to be on the dark side of the Force, so he flees. The hunt for him begins: stormtroopers Captain Phasma (played by Gwendoline Christine) and General Hux (Domhall Gleeson) chase after the deserter.
But Finn’s escape is not an easy one as he crashes on the sandy wastes of the planet Jakku, where he meets Rey. This tough, petite woman scavenges on the remains of starships and exchanges their parts for food portions, until one day she finds something extremely powerful: a Lightsaber! But not just any old Lightsaber: it once belonged to Luke Skywalker, and there are many evil characters that would like to get their hands on it, including Kylo Ren, member of the Knights of Ren and a Darth Vader fanatic. This emerging dynamic ends in an epic battle, and brings with it some shocking twists and turns. It’s not just the Star Wars story that enchants us, but the actors too.

Rogue One is the first part of an anthology series, and sets the prehistory to Episode IV. It’s about a group of rebels who plan to steal plans to construct a Death Star, but the rebels didn’t consider the Dark Empire’s fighters. Rogue One is more based on battles, and boasts a number of impressive scenes.
