The first computer-animated feature film with toy figures as the main characters from 1995 makes the hearts of young and old beat faster. Toys have a secret: as soon as their owners turn their backs on them, they come to life.

In Andy's nursery, the cowboy sheriff Woody is in command, because he is Andy's absolute favorite toy. Woody rounds up all the inhabitants of the children's room, because Andy's birthday is just around the corner and thus one of the most feared days of the year. A new toy could shake up the existing structures of the community or even lead to the discarding of a group member. Everyone holds their breath in fear, only Woody is calm, as he is sure of the favor of his owner. But that is about to change ...

The toys are enthusiastic about the new companion with its look and sophisticated details. Only Woody's euphoria is limited, because who likes to be pushed off the throne. How the fight of the two heroes for Andy's love ends remains exciting.

Toy Story 2

The toy family's second adventure is all about friendship, romantic feelings and Woody's star qualities.

Woody falls into the hands of a fanatical toy collector, who recognizes him as a valuable collector's item and kidnaps him. His friends around Buzz Lightyear have to watch the scenario through binoculars and are beside themselves with worry. Without further ado, they embark on a breakneck mission: Woody's rescue. The journey has some dangers and obstacles in store for the group.

Toy Story 3

Growing up is stupid. At least that's what Andy's toys think.

In the third part of the successful film series, Andy has finally outgrown childhood and decides to donate his game collection to a crèche.

At the beginning, the discarded game pieces are happy about their new home: Finally they are played with again. But Woody, Buzz and Mister Potato Head quickly realize that their new world is not as rosy as it seems. The flood of children with their clumsy hands is impetuous and coarse, so that the toy lovers soon have to fear for their lives. Their only salvation: escape.

A Toy Story 4: Everything Obeys No Command

The first computer-animated film is entering its fourth round, with John Lasseter again directing. The two toy heroes in the form of cowboy Woody and astronaut Buzz Lightyear are also the focus of the action here.

After saying goodbye to Andy, the toys have found a new home with the girl Bonnie. The setting is a children's room, equipped with well-known favorites from the Pixar pen, such as Mister Potato Head, the dog Slinky or Porzelinchen. However, the wild gang gets a new addition who stirs up the peaceful toy world. Forky is a fork in combination with various everyday objects. It is precisely from this mix that an identity crisis has developed in Forky, so that he himself is convinced that he is anything but a toy. Forky causes a lot of chaos in the children's room and leads Woody and Buzz unerringly into a new adventure where they leave the room and explore the world on a road trip.
