"„Opium fürs Volk“ 1996 - 2026: Die 30 Jahre-Jubiläumsbox" LP by Die Toten Hosen

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album "Opium fürs Volk", it is being reissued in an opulent vinyl box set featuring four colored LPs, a 12-inch maxi, and a 7-inch single.

The "Opium fürs Volk 1996–2026: 30th Anniversary Box" will be released in a meticulously crafted, limited edition of just 6,000 numbered copies. It includes the double album "Opium fürs Volk" as a 180g record in translucent yellow vinyl, as well as the live album "Im Auftrag des Herrn", released in autumn 1996, on red translucent 180g double vinyl (this album was previously only available in a limited edition of 1,000 copies in a long out-of-print album box).

Additionally, the box includes "Zehn kleine Jägermeister" as a 12"-maxi single featuring the legendary "Hörner-Schädel" cover, which originally appeared only as a promotional release. As a special treat for fans, there is also the first-ever reissue of the legendary release "Tout pour sauver l’amour" with the serial number JKP 01: this 7"-vinyl single features a French version of "Bonnie & Clyde" and the equally legendary "French Karaoke" version on the B-side, originally pressed only a few hundred times and never released commercially.

Completing this weighty package is an opulent 40-page booklet in LP format, which includes an extensive exclusive interview with the band, numerous photos, articles, and artifacts from the band’s archive, as well as a 60 x 60 cm poster of the iconic "Opium fürs Volk" album cover motif.
