Their third album "Scrolls of the Megilloth" still is a genre gem - the band never has reached that level of quality again with their following releases. In the course of their career, the boys developed a penchant for Thrash Metal, sometimes even with a heavy dash of Hardcore. This year, the Christian trio celebrates its 20th anniversary in style: with 2 CDs. The first includes new recordings of evergreens such as "Nocturnal", "Grind planetarium" and the great "Hammer of god", followed by three live recordings of the very first Mortification show, with cult songs like "Eyes of destruction" and "City streets" plus some more recordings done later. Disc #2 contains 12 more live tracks from 1993 (when they were on top of their popularity, after the release of "Scrolls of the Megilloth") and four acoustical tidbits. Happy birthday!
