What has not already been said about "Beatsteaks"? First German band on Epitaph. Soon to be featured by Major Warner. Probably Germany's unrivalled best live act. Played the Vans Warped Tour in Canada and the US and opened for the Sex Pistols even before having seen a studio from the inside. Their meteoric rise started in 1997 with the debut album "48/49" that first created a sensation in the scene and then found its way across the borders of scenes and countries. The last festival summer brought us thousands of fans that sung "Let Me In" while dancing arm in arm... The Beatsteak debut "48/49" has sold 10,000 copies without ever having seen marketing efforts.
