Excellent Service

Released as 2-CD & DVD edition in a box set.

This is a breathtaking concert film that is a perfect match to the start of the acoustic tour in November 2015. Filmed in March 2015 in the Liverpool (Anathema's home city) Anglican Cathedral, this film shows the exceptional band during a unique acoustic set in perfect HD format. Renowned film maker Lasse Hoile (Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Dream Theater) has captured the magic moments of this show. After „Universal“, „A Sort of homecoming“ is the second live release by KScope. You notice immediately that this is a home game for the band - the relaxed atmosphere transmits to the fans. Anathema are especially capable of delivering big emotions wrapped in unforgettable melodies. Daniel Cavanagh once said: ”... This music was written to move the listener deeply, to lift him up and to bring him to the coldest depths of his soul ...“ Pink Floyd aficionados, Rush followers, Metal heads, or fans of U2, Coldplay, and The Beatles: they all love Anathema, no matter which genre they usually prefer.
