13.Get It On (2006 Version)
by Matthias Mineur (05.10.2006) Lenny Wolf has a logical recipe: main ingredient of his first-class Hardrock-menue is his charismatic voice, a mixture of Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) and Jack Russell (Great White). The man sings full of empathy and passion, always sounds a bit melancholic and still deals with power and strength. Further components are his typical song writing, his great abilities as a multi-instrumentalist and his gift to be able to even produce all this adequately. The results of his musical arts have been undisputed for years: None of his records released under the name of Kingdom Come have ever disappointed. But watch out Lenny: "Ain't crying for the moon' is the first album that could have done with a bit more influence from outside. That's the way you remain fresh as an artist and avoid artistic stagnation. Because that wouldn't fit the kingdom!
