[How many 118 ml tubs do I need for my hair?]
- Short to bob-length hair: 1 - 2 tubs, depending on hair thickness
- Shoulder to waist-length hair: 2 - 3 tubs, depending on hair thickness. For thick hair, an additional tub may be needed for the ends.
- Waist-length hair and longer: 3+ tubs, depending on hair thickness

Instructions: How to Dye Hair with Manic Panic
1. If necessary, bleach your hair and follow the instructions on the packaging. If you are using a hair bleaching product, please DO NOT use the included conditioner or any other included aftercare products!
2. Rinse your hair with clear water.
3. Apply the hair colour. Use a comb or a dedicated hair dye brush for an even application, massage it in with your fingers, and leave it on for 15 to 60 minutes.
4. Rinse your hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Finish rinsing with cold water and it's best to use a conditioner or some other nourishing product afterwards.

General Information about our Hair Colours:
Please keep in mind that the quality, colour, etc., of the final result will ALWAYS depend on the state of your hair prior to dyeing. We recommend always testing the product on a small strand of hair before dyeing to ensure you achieve the desired hair colour!
Our hair colours usually do not cause allergies; HOWEVER, if you are unsure about your reaction to the product, apply a small amount to your skin, e.g., on the inside of your elbow (remember that the dye can leave stains, so it's best to test it in an inconspicuous area). Wait a few days and then check for any changes to your skin. If it does change, you are likely very sensitive to the product and should not dye your hair.
To achieve an intense result that looks like our sample colours, you should always bleach your hair before dyeing. Light shades such as white or pastels are only possible on bleached hair.
Our white shades are actually very light violet tones that remove the yellow tint from the hair, so don’t panic if it looks bright purple right after application – this usually fades after the first wash.
The lighter your hair is, the closer the result will be to our sample colours. None of our hair colours damage the hair, as they are ammonia-free. Different pigments may vary in how easily they can be washed out or bleached.
When dyeing very blonde hair with a red shade, the colour will not wash out after 6 to 8 weeks; rather, it will gradually fade and pass through various stages of shading, which can be either orange or pink depending on the underlying colour of the red. In other words: red pigments do not wash out very easily, while blue ones typically do so very quickly.
Our colour samples are based on synthetic hair and may therefore appear differently on real hair after dyeing – colours may also look different on various computer screens. Many red shades will look different on various hair types, depending on how long the product was left on the hair and so on.
Please be aware that our hair colours may leave light stains on skin, clothing, towels, and in the bathroom, so please protect EVERYTHING you don’t want to dye (including your skin)! This applies even to wet hair, even if it isn’t freshly dyed!
