by Markus Eck (11/02) Their equally romantic and melancholic and painful debut, "All the beauty" ì is the stirring up result of five sworn souls completely devoted to their ì passion, their music. The album title stands for all the beauty of the ì Gothic Metal the Norwegian quintet impressively celebrates here. I can't ì remember having heard a similarly soft, graceful, lovely and more longing ì voice and simultaneously lascivious and enticing female voice in all the ì Gothic Rock albums I have heard than that of front lady, Cat. Striking on ì "All the beauty" are the sometimes hard and heavy-weight and doom-like ì guitar riffs representing a great contrast to the always highly emotional, ì latent sensible and massively keyboard-loaded esthetic-sound of these ì talented emotion-actors. Already the demo of the inspired band only dealt ì with one topic - and thematically this one, too, only talks about love, this ì neverending emotional trip. (Markus Eck - 11/02)
