by Martin (null) The new album of the doom-masters of Liverpool Anathema is really coolThe disc reminds me a lot of the last Tiamat-release, full of emotions and many soft parts, supported by strings,piano and the unbelievable voice of Vinnie Cavanagh. Vinnie sings soft and rough, and pushes the mood with various echo-parts and other effects. Unfortunately the disc isn't produced very straight. All in all "Alternative 4" is one of the best doom/gothic-metal releases at the moment!
