by Ralf Koch (24.07.2009) Even their first album was a huge success for the Poles: be it the Rock, Metal, Prog, or NuRock scene, everybody and his grandmother was intoxicated. The following fantastic releases and their great live performances just added to their excellent reputation. Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Dream Theater - their sound hovers between those classy acts, and they add their very own flavour to it. After their album trilogy, "Anno domini high definition" is already the fourth output on which they can maintain this high level. Intricate rhythms, hefty guitar parts, psychedelic spheric passages, all that plus Mariusz Dudas’ intense voice (which occasionally lets off some short growls) make for a mighty impressive listening experience! Sadly, the experience is only 44:44 minutes long - fortunately, the special edition also contains a live DVD!
