New editions of the long out-of-print first four studio albums by Swedish progressive metal masters Seventh Wonder: 'Become,' 'Mercy Falls,' 'The Great Escape,' and 'Waiting In The Wings.' Seventh Wonder was founded in 2000 by bassist Andreas Blomqvist, guitarist Johan Liefvendahl, and drummer Johnny Sandin, and they embraced progressive metal. With keyboardist Andreas 'Kyrt' Söderin, the lineup was complete. The first Seventh Wonder album, 'Become,' was released in 2005. Shortly after, singer Andi Kravljaca left the band. Enter the brilliant Tommy Karevik (Kamelot, ex-Vindictiv), who joined the band in 2005. The next album, 'Waiting In The Wings,' was recorded in 2006 and mixed by the legendary Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, TNT, etc.). This album was a big step forward in terms of song complexity and maturity, receiving excellent reviews. In 2007, they shared stages with legendary bands like Queensrÿche, Testament, Redemption, and many others in England, Holland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. In 2008, 'Mercy Falls' was released and immediately hailed as a masterpiece. In 2010, the band released 'The Great Escape,' which was once again celebrated by critics and fans, solidifying the band's status as one of the leading progressive metal bands. During the Tour, the band also performed at the ProgPower Festival in the USA. All four reissues will be released with new liner notes written by the band.
