Product description

SHADOW KINGDOM RECORDS is proud to present the highly anticipated fifth album from America's DESTRUCTOR – Blood, Bone, and Fire.
Destructor was formed in 1984 and hails from the steel city of Cleveland, Ohio. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Pat Rabid, drummer Matt Flammable, bassist Paul Warhead, and singer/guitarist Dave Overkill. Paul Warhead was soon replaced by Dave Holocaust. With this intact lineup, DESTRUCTOR would conquer Cleveland and play legendary shows with bands like Megadeth, Slayer, Nasty Savage, Anthrax, and others.
In the summer of 1986, DESTRUCTOR recorded their debut album, Maximum Destruction, for Auburn Records and then licensed it to Roadrunner Records in 1986, helping to spread Maximum Destruction throughout the European continent. With the band's distinctive power thrash sound, DESTRUCTOR would gain a larger and broader fan base worldwide. In 1987, the band caught the attention of major label Island Records, but on New Year's Day 1988, tragedy struck: Dave Holocaust was murdered in the early morning hours by a complete stranger. After the loss of their beloved member and the major label's decision to drop the entire record deal, DESTRUCTOR struggled to stay on course in the following years, and the American market was constantly changing with the rise of grunge. In 1992, they finally called it quits.
Due to continued interest in the band, DESTRUCTOR reunited in 1999. After new member Jamie Boulder, aka Athenar of Midnight, joined in 2002, the band recorded the album Sonic Bullet. With subsequent releases Forever in Leather, EP Storm of Steel, Back in Bondage, and Decibel Casualties, DESTRUCTOR paved their way into the future and breathed new life into the band's global fanbase.
In 2012, original members Pat Rabid and Jamie Boulder left the band's camp, opening the door for Nick Annihilator and Tim Hammer (Wretch). This lineup would continue the tradition of striking down evil for the next 10 years. Nick Annihilator decided to leave the band but contributed to writing two new songs and once again opened the door for guitarist Mark Hellhound. With this lineup, the band would begin recording a new album for their new home label, SHADOW KINGDOM RECORDS, in 2022.
