by Sonja Angerer (23.03.2007) The master of the apocalyptic electronics is not carefully with his listeners - that hasn't changed with his ninth album, either. The title track shows the way: Bees and flowers have never been a matter of Wumpscut's but the apocalyptic inescapability this song breathes is well capable of destroying all of nature's sweetest dreams. Also the call for God, "Adonai, my Lord" is rather a battle call than a prayer - this is no begging for mercy but pure fighting. From the deepest moors of history arises the "Homo goticus industrialis" and you can well see the twinkling of the eyes in the song, just like in the slightly crazy "My dear ghoul" and "You are a Goth" - the latter being a clear candidate for a new Wumpscut classic.
