"Cantus lucidus" CD by Coronatus

This limited version of "Cantus Lucidus" by Coronatus is released in a limited digipak including two bonus tracks.



CORONATUS shows up with nine new, powerful songs after more than a year. The album title "Cantus Lucidus" says it all because "Lucidus" means more or less glorious/bright/shining and "Cantus" means singing/music etc. In addition to the classical operatic voice of the soprano Carmen Loch, the rock voice of Anny Maleyes being a professional singer in other bands and projects - mainly in the cover sector for many years – creates glorious singing.
Therefore, the "Cantus Lucidus" songs are straighter and more rocking than on the symphonic prior album. Nevertheless, you can find lots of bombast and folk elements.
A complex rhythm, sonorous guitars and fantastic keyboard arrangement create the typical CORONATUS sound for the melodious vocal lines.
