by Lisa Hofer (29.10.2008) Doro Pesch has a reason for celebrating! Being the first woman in Metal, a real pioneer, she is still history in the making with big plans for the future. Everybody is excited about her giant "25 Years In Rock" show on December 13th in Düsseldorf, and about her new album. To fill the gap until the release, the label offers us this yummy appetizer: a single which contains two new songs, and three different versions of the smasher "Celebrate". Contributing to these versions are, among others, Saxon’s Biff Byford, and, on an all-female one, Sabina Classen (Holy Moses), Floor Jansesn (After Forever), Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), Veronica Freeman (Benedictum), Liv Kristine (Leave’s Eyes), Ji-In Cho (Krypteria), Liv (Sister Sin), and the graces of Girlschool. The versions of "The night of the warlock", a True Metal anthem, and emotional "Rescue me" won’t be released on any other output apart from this single, so it’s a must for all aficionados!
