Construct' by Dark Tranquillity is certainly one of the most important albums in the Melodic Death Metal genre. The ten compositions on 'Construct' reveal an immediacy that stems more from melody and emotional depth rather than complex riffing, but still manages to summon killer guitar work. Additionally, the mixing skills of renowned producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Kreator, etc.) bring out the best in the material.
