Product description

The "Copenhagen 1972-Live" is released as 3 LP in Gatefold.

Deep Purple in Copenhagen from 1972 finally is released on vinyl for the first time! Together with Led Zeppelin, The Who and Black Sabbath the band is considered one of the founders of the hard rock genre. Deep Purple shaped many youths in the 70's and it can be truly said that they are a rock legend. More than 100 million of albums sold worldwide and hits, that have merged into the collective memory of the planet! Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice showed their peak form to the thrilled Scandinavian audience and performed nine songs. Among those were songs from the (back then) unreleased "Machine Head" being heard for the first time, that are now considered classics.
The audio material was edited in 2013 and offers a first-class sound experience. And once again it is confirmed: Deep Purple are a live revelation!
