by Jürgen Tschamler (09/02) For "Crimson Thunder" Charly Bauerfeind climbed onto the producer seat. Hence, the album sounds phat and powerful. Choirs and arrangements bring back memories of old-Accept. "Riders on the storm" goes direction "Glory to the brave" and the following "Hearts on fire" is hard to get out of your head. "On the edge of honour" and "Crimson thunder" have fantastic melody lines. Moreover, it should be mentioned here, that singer Joacim Cans offers his best vocal performance ever! The disc also features the Chastain cover "Angel of mercy".
