Musically, the ambitious musician always manages to set accents and portray himself appropriately in line with the spirit of the times. His album 'Dragontown' from the year 2001 makes us forget about the harsh predecessor 'Brutal planet' and successfully strives for melody. Just like the opener 'Triggerman' reminds us of the great 'Poison' days, combining catchy hooks with hard guitars, allowing the pop factor that occasionally shines through in Cooper's work to come into its own. 'Dragontown' represents the second part of a conceptual idea that revolves around a dark underworld with aging rockstars. Is Cooper perhaps portraying his own life here?
