CARNAL TOMB, from Germany's equally chaotic and vibrant capital Berlin, deliver their eagerly awaited third album 'Embalmed in Decay,' perfectly channeling the spirit of old school death metal. Lovecraft, as well as gore and zombie films like Amando de Ossorio's classic 'Tombs of the Blind Dead' from 1972, and specific Italian burial sites called 'Putridairum,' where the corpses of the deceased rotted down to the bones in open chambers. The morbid cover artwork by artist Skaðvaldur is also influenced by these themes. CARNAL TOMB was founded in Berlin in 2014. An insatiable hunger for old school death metal infected all band members.
