by Andreas Reissnauer (21.11.2007) It's no secret (any more) that L.O.T.D. have come out of the Dutch Thrashers, Occult. Because of chronic lack of success, they changed names three years ago and β tata! β suddenly reached a new audience all over the place. Still, you mustn't forget that a new label and a very good marketing have at least as much share in this success as the musical quality. Especially the last Occult-album, "Elegy of the weak", sounded similar to the first two L.O.T.D.-records, so it is only understandable, that these forgotten jewels are being re-released under the new name and new title now. Apart from that, the order of the songs was changed while the sound was not touched. In direct comparison to the first two records, this one is even a bit more aggressive and more variable. "Feel the blade" has an incredible power β just like you can expect of an album that carries the name of Legion Of The Damned. As a bonus, you get two additional songs!
