by Oliver Kube (24.07.2009) 13 songs hovering between the classic Southern Sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allmann Brothers, combined with airplay-friendly Post Grunge à la the better stuff by Nickelback and 3 Doors Down: almost a year after its release, one of the most powerful and best Rock albums 2008 is rereleased: with a new cover artwork, and, maybe even more important to most of the fans, with a ten-track bonus disc containing ca. 40 minutes of additional music. Six of those recordings have been so far unreleased - they are as good as their well-known fellows. Absolute highlights: the chunky Boogie Rock gem "Yeah man", and the awesome Power ballad "Big city lights". The whole thing is topped off by four cleverly arranged, yet seemingly spontaneous-sounding acoustical interpretations of , for example, epic "Peace is free" or vigorous "Maybe someday" which both deviate significantly from the original versions.
