by Peter Kupfer (20.09.2010) “Forging the eclipse“ unleashes a battery of mosh pit Metal juxtaposed with fiery melodies packed in a massive and awesome production. It’s an exhausting listen at times because the band doesn’t rely on breakdowns or mellowed-out moments as much as some of their peers, but the band keeps things interesting by adding in some creative lead parts that echo the rhythm section. Nothing is prototypical, and extended with softer parts they managed to create special moments which are profound, deep and still Metal-like. Neaera blaze a trail in Death Metal and demonstrate that there is chance to get modern Metal in the year 2010.
