    Black bone song

by Markus Wosgien (July 2004) It's bee a complete decade since Jutta Weinhold said goodbye to the metal world with her last work of genius, "The 4th quest for fantasy". Her classic, opera-like voice refined four records of Zed Yago and Velvet Viper before the charismatic singer devoted to other passions in her life. With a new team and ten first-class songs in the back, the Hamburger original now returns with a routine as if the "Black bone song" was only composed yesterday. The love for poetry and literature dominates "From heaven through the world to hell" like they did in her early days. Musically, works inspired by Kafka or Hesse are set to music in a dramatic and impulsive way, burst for pathos and goose-flesh bombast. As if a complete orchestra stood behind her, tracks like "Metamorphosis" or "Macbeth" create a great feeling with a musicality that really impresses. On the other hand you find rather straight rock tracks, like "Rock of Metal" or the Blues-inspired "Wounded pioneer". This is high quality music all through and the triumphant return of one of the greatest female singers in Germany. (Markus Wosgien - July 2004)
