The diamond-certified, platinum-awarded Canadian rock band Nickelback has officially announced their highly anticipated new album Get Rollin', which will be released on November 18th via BMG. Led by the brand new single 'San Quentin,' the latest work is the band's tenth studio album and their first release in five years. 'San Quentin' is an edgy, rocking adventure that gives a taste of the diverse sounds and songs of Get Rollin'. Frontman Chad Kroeger was inspired to write the single 'San Quentin' after meeting a guard at the infamous California maximum-security prison. The song tells the story of the protagonist planning his clever escape. In addition to 'San Quentin,' the band's upcoming album will contain ten new songs, all written by Nickelback.
'We have spent the past few years making a record at a pace that allows us to create something in complete freedom. And we can't wait for everyone to hear this new music,' says Nickelback. 'We have missed the fans and are excited to bring the new songs to life on stage, so let's Get Rollin'!'
