The American crossover band Primus developed their own genre during their career, which is a jazzy version of crossover, the band itself calls it psychedelic Polka. It is characterised by dominant base lines, a percussive sound and riffs that take the breath away of the listeners. Which is exactly what the album "Groundhog Day" reflects!
