Product description

Scar Symmerty are a hybride of Death Metal, Techno Thrash and Progressive Metal. The abrupt tempo changes, the high-levelled guitar play and the partly complicated song structures aren't easy to see through, but especially these compononets make the band unmistakable.

by Jürgen Tschamler (14.04.2008) Scar Symmetry is one of the elitist troop of young hopefuls who could already completely convince with their two predecessor records. Once introduced as an All-Star-Band, they have long freed from this definition. Musically, Scar Symmetry is a hybrid of Death Metal, Techno Thrash and Progressive Metal. Short: Progressive Melodic Death Metal should e the only correct term for the variable music of the band. While on the last album, the growls and Death elements were still very dominating, "Holographis universe" is more about "clean" vocals. First of all, there is this catchy "Artificial sun projection" with its great melody line. "The missing coordinates" is an up-tempo hitter with an unbelievable beat frequency and very interesting vocal passages. The abrupt tempo changes, the skilful guitars and the often very intricate song structures are not too easy to follow but especially those components make this album so unmistakable. A very variable album that you HAVE to have heard!
