by Michi (null) "Ill-natured spiritual invasion" is the latest and very important (3rd) album of Old Man's Child. Future is looking pretty nice upon Galder and Co.. Altogether 8 songs, that musicwise romp about in the atmosphere of black metal, but touch the genre of classic metal due to the dominant guitars, were preserved for infinity. Supported by precise pressure-drumming of drum-legend Gene Hoglan (Ex-Dark Angel, Death), who was won for the recording, one fireworks after the other is being burnt off. Despite the hardness and the fast basic-tempo, there is still enough room for smooth keyboards and atmospheric passages, that offer a wellcome change. The only shortcoming is the playing-time of only 35 minutes.
