11.The book
by Andreas Reissnauer (29.09.2006) Nothing but respect is what Vader deserve. The Polish have released their debut album 14 years ago and are constantly on tour since then - only interrupted by the release of new records all of which could convince, none of them has ever failed. Two years after "The Beast" Vader are back, and "Impressions in blood" is no exception from the before mentioned rule. From start to finish it's Death Metal which reigns with an unbelievable heaviness and intensity. No experiments this time, Vader sound a 100% like Vader and that means: fast drumming, riff attacks in barrage pace and the typical Death-speech vocals of mainman Peter, who sounds as charismatic as ever. Plenty of gloomy keyboard intros support the maleficent atmosphere of the album that can definitely be seen as one of the best in their career. A must-have for all Death Metal freaks!
