"Into the battleground" CD by Skiltron

For several years now the Argentines 'Skiltron' have been active heroes of the well-known folk metal scene in South America and have made themselves a name in the scene as a backing for former Skyclad singer Martin Walkyer on his South America tour. "Into The Battleground" is their fourth album and its filled to the brim with driving, militant songs, which are composed of, in equal numbers, vigorous and yet melodic heavy metal and churning celtic folk, in which the latter elements are added to the crunchy riffs and rhythms with genuine folk instruments such as bagpipes, tin whistle and bouzouki.
