by Oliver Kube (30.10.2009) "100% Truth" by Upon My Life is a really classy release. Originally a solo project, more and more musicians participated, and so the whole thing led to a band of four gifted musicians. The vocal parts are very versatile, the lyrics deal with life as it is, and the musical talent of the single instumentalists is extraordinary. Songs like "Down", "Heartbroken" or "Bleeding" are my faves, but each composition on this album is a unique display of finesse. Okay, you have to crank it up quite a bit because the production is not that phat, and there are some other minor flaws, too. But with the right kind of support, this band could be the next big thing!
