'Der Graf 'came back into homelike regions with the sequel to his successful album "Grosse Freiheit". In the last two years, he was able to see the country, the people, and the whole world from another perspective. Hence, even the known became strange and that might be an explanation for the title of the new album "Lichter der Stadt". The title seems just as diverse as the cover of the album. An undistinguished feeling of melancholia comes over the spectator and listener. While still wondering what the reason might be, we discover that in this street there are cars, restaurants, and wild imaginations - but no people. Great live album!
