by Manuela Liefländer (April 2005) Listening to the first tunes of the opener, "Sapphire" you could almost think that Tilo Wolff would have returned to his roots after 15 years. During the course of the 10-minute song, however, the metal elements become stronger creating a sonic change of emotions. Just as we know it from him, one could say. Still, this album should also be satisfying those fans who turned away from him since the commercial single, "Stolzes Herz". Also the second song, "Kelch der Liebe" one is reminded of the past times as there are definitely some parallels to "Seele in Not". Even the title track is but a schmaltzy song. So there is obviously still hope. Of course, you also get a duet, too, as well as quite complex and bombastic classic meets metal songs. After Wolff's side project, Snakeskin had disappointed some a fan, "Lichtgestalt" will enthuse his supporters. In fact, this album is more than worth recommending.
