by Manuela Liefländer (09/03) SOIA guitarist Pete Kollar: "We wanted the new album to be close to our live sound!"And...it is! Already "Relentless" - the opener - shows that Sick of it all have not lost one bit of authenticity over the past 16 years. The raw Punk, Hardcore, Oi and Metal mixture must have been themed "You get what you deserve!" - at least that's what the house-own production sounds like. Apparently, Kollar and friends have switched to DIY attitude. Despite a couple of week spots the quality of the album is undisputed. I recommend "Butting heads" - a catchy, metal-laden pogo song. The album also has the typical SOIA shout-along hymns in store as well. It's not surprising that HC-godfather John Joseph from the Cro-Mags also says hi on the album.
