"Lifestyles of the sick & dangerous" CD by Blind Channel

'Rohkea rokan syö,' or to freely this Finnish proverb: 'Fortune favors the bold.' Indeed, no one has been braver than Blind Channel. They fully focus on their mission to take their infectiously wild nu-metal beyond the linguistic boundaries of Finland, and this bravery is inherent in them from birth.

'It took eight years to become an overnight success,' this line found on Blind Channel's fourth album, Lifestyles Of The Sick & Dangerous, continues their uncompromising journey.

The six-piece band has fought their way into the global mainstream, always considering their influences: from nu-metal iconoclasts to pop and hip-hop giants - all of this is part of Blind Channel's DNA. This is the key to their attraction, they are only interested in staying true to themselves while diligently searching for the keys that open the doors to success.

Blind Channel knew they had something to process. Not just the 'modern misery' plaguing the world, as Joel puts it, but also the proof that they can deliver more than the crowd-pleasing anthem 'Dark Side.' Lifestyles Of The Sick & Dangerous is a whipping, brutal, boasting, and sincere portrayal of their lives, supported by their trademark 'violent pop music.' It is not only a tongue-in-cheek homage to the Good Charlotte song Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous, but above all, a righteous declaration that this is just the beginning.
