After the impressive comeback “Death... the brutal way“ they are back with the first official double live record. Recorded at the Turock club, which is based in Essen/Germany, the record is an evidence how this band can destroy stages with their special mix of Doom and Metal. The setlist compromises 19 tracks and overall playing time around two hours. The show was recorded with multiple cameras in front of a sold out enthusiastic audience. It‘s absolutely a great and excellent show which emphasizes -beside the new material- on the 1987-1992 period. The recordings are perfect and the sound is really raw. Beside the live stuff there is a chapter called “Death“ which covers the entire career of Asphyx with the documentary called “Hordes of disgust“. Divided in 17 chapters it points out all milestones of the band starting in 1987. “Live death doom“ is for all Metal fans a must-have release!
