Together with the Sex Pistols, The Clash were the Punk Rock pioneers in England. However, differently than the Sex Pistols they mixed their own with Reggae and Disco sounds. The band leader duo Joe Strummer and Mick Jones composed most of the band's hits. The third album "London Calling " appeared in 1979 as a double LP and impressed by its wide musical spectrum which reached from Pop through Reggae to Punk.
