With "Mabool", the best known Israeli band beside Melechesh and Salem impressively returns. Not only that the album clocks in at almost 70 minutes, "Mabool" also includes a bonus c.d. featuring four live acoustic songs plus a medley. But of course, also the new album more than enough to offer! Bursting with epic melodies, Oriental inspirations and vocals as well as a never ending flood of ideas, you can see that the band must have spend ages with the compositions. The songs are complex and offer everything from fragile acoustic passages to heavy riffs and death metal. A crossover of the unusual kind - but it works brilliantly! (Andreas Reissnauer - 04/01)
