Originally, there was a bad weather warning. But it started to rain heavily only during the last song of the set"Long Live Rock 'n' Roll". Three hours earlier, the evening sun put the area at the "Band Your Head" festival, in Balingen, in a warm light. Here, Axel Rudi Pell celebrates his 25th anniversary as a solo artist with a fantastic show. With support of his concert agency, the guitar player from Bochum created a line-up without comparison. "A lot was achieved via personal connections". Because, after 25 years the international hard rock scene knows and respects the artist. Hence, the phrase "& Friends" is not an exaggeration. Pell managed to get almost all of his favourite candidates to play: Rob rock (v), Jeff Scott Soto (v), Joerg Michael (dr), Vinny Appice (dr), Ronnie Atkins (v), John Lawton (v), Tony Carey (k, v), Doogie White (v), Graham Bonnet (v), Michael Voss (v).
