by Patrick Schmidt (null) Yes, that's more like it! After the so-so predecessor "Warpath" Six Feet Under follow "Haunted" with this smasher. Already the opener (unfortunately at the time of this review I don't have any titles yet) shows exactly where this'll lead! It's gonna hurt! Mercyless riffs, groovy rhythms and Chris Barnes' one-of-a-kind grunting will lead every death metalist to xtc. Barnes lowered his grunting by another octave I guess, at least he never sounded as brutal and perverted as on "Maximum Violence" even atì Cannible Corpse times. S.F.U. even covered Kiss' "War machine" and if you are lucky and receive one of the CDs from the first edition the CD will contain 4 bonustracks: "Jailbreak" (Running Wild), "Wrathchild" (Iron Maiden) and 2 other excellent covers. For death metalists a must!
