by Matthias Mader (25.03.2008) It's been calm for some time now around the Oi!-legend from South East London, now The Business return with new material. From the original line-up, only singer Micky Fitz is left, the new have such funny names, like Bundie, Trots and Tosh. Musically, the English show with three cover versions what bands have influenced them. That are, big surprise, Status Quo with their catchy Boogie-Rocker, "Mean girl", of course, transformed into a Punk version. Much closer to the style of the Londoners is "1-2-3" from the Sex Pistols, Steve Jones and Paul Cook. "Till the end" is the closest to The Business but was originally written of the Bostoner Hardcore-icons, The Bruisers (who, of course, have heavily been influenced by British Oi! themselves). The other five songs of this mini album (incl. the hits, "Harry May", "Suburban rebels" and "Smash the discos") were taken from a’82-live-performance in the London Marquee club (where skinheads in fact were banned and The Business could only play by the aid of Gene October of Chelsea).
