High energy Stoner Rock with the charismatic vocals of Andy Alkmann who still sounds like a great Ozzy double. "Memories in black" in parts sounds a bit darker and more thoughtful and with a heavier Black Sabbath-side to it than ever. Which resulted in excellent tracks, like the dragging "Again" and "Queen of fire". For the rest, edgy riffs, a Whiskey-soaking 70s-flair and simple, effective melodies are dominating. Hellfueled is the perfect band for every smokey club, and the Swedes manage to bring this feeling across on every new album, too. Like "Volume one" and "Born II Rock", "Memories in black" was produced by Frederik Nordström in the holy Fredman Studios (In Flames, Arch Enemy et al). The album bursts for the classic cliches, sex, drugs and Rock'n'Roll - so pump it up!
