On their third album "MO[NU]MENT", the band is more sophisticated but no less brutal than before. GOITZSCHE FRONT show with songs like "Männer aus Stahl" what they are made of: they don't need big orchestrations, but prefer to stay close to home and simplicity when it comes to music. "Only men made of steel drive cars made of cardboard" – the band sings a unique and very characteristic love song to the old Trabi. On their new album, the boys clarify their true values: allegedly simple things like friendship, solidarity and honesty. This is what the lyrics are all about. The boys from Bitterfeld make it clear that the region they come from, which suffers from demographic change, is a lot livelier and it's nicer to live there than one might think.
